Large multi-sport complex of the University of Lausanne and EPFL on the Dorigny campus, set between Route Cantonale and the lakeshore of Lake Geneva just west of Lausanne. The centre is used daily by university students, staff and local clubs, and combines outdoor stadium pitches, training fields, indoor halls and a lakeside nautical centre in one compact area.
The heart of the venue is the Dorigny central stadium with its full-size football pitch and athletics track, surrounded by additional natural and synthetic pitches for football and rugby, beach volleyball courts, outdoor tennis and basketball, and signposted running loops through the parkland. Below the main fields, the Centre Nautique UNIL+EPFL opens directly onto the lake, offering sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddle, canoe and kayak sessions from spring to autumn.
With two large multi-sport halls, several strength and conditioning gyms, a climbing structure and the Centre Sport et Santé for testing and performance support, Dorigny can host university championships, club training and multi-sport camps all year round.
