Consultant in Endocrinology & Diabetes
I am a consultant in Endocrinology & Diabetes. I obtained my Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Manchester (UK) in 2005. I have since been working in the North West area of the UK; in 2009 I became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh). In 2012 I completed the Specialty Exam (SCE) in Endocrinology & Diabetes and was awarded my Certificate of Completion (CCT) of training in Endocrinology & Diabetes in 2014.
I was also awarded a CCT in General Internal Medicine (GIM) in 2014. I have worked as a Consultant in Endocrinology & Diabetes at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust (Greater Manchester, UK) up to September 2015. I retain my affiliation (Honorary Contract) with the aforementioned hospital to this date. During the period of 2014-2015 I also completed a Clinical Fellowship in Thyroid diseases, which is among my special interests.
I am very keen in teaching and training of junior colleagues and medical students and I have completed a diploma in Post-Graduate Medical Education (PGME, Edge Hill University, UK) and aim to complete a Masters in PGME by mid-2016.
